Background Information: TPO (Thrombopoietin, also known as Mpl-ligand, MGDF) stimulates the proliferation and maturation of megakaryocytes and promotes increased circulation levels of platelets in vivo. The murine TPO is a soluble 18.7 kDa protein containing 174 amino acid residues, which comprises the receptor binding domain of the Mpl-ligand protein.
Handling: Centrifuge the vial prior to opening.
Usage: For Research Use Only! Not to be used in humans. |
