Functional Aspects:Perforin is found in cytotoxic T-lymphocytes (CTLS) and acts as a pore-forming protein. It induces circular lesions on the cell membranes of foreign antigen presenting cells bound by CTLS. Perforin is also expressed on CD5 positive NK cells, CD3 positive large granular lymphocytes and gamma/delta T cells. This antibody will help in the identification of Perforin in normal and uncharacterized tissues.
