Functional Aspects:Minichormosome maintenance (MCM) proteins play crucial roles in eukaryotic DNA replication. Generally, the levels of MCM proteins increase in variable amounts as normal cells move from G0 into G1/S phase of the cell cycle. This antibody will help detect MCM2 and may be useful as a proliferation marker in various tissues.
