LPS-EB
LPS from E. coli O111:B4
InvivoGen provides LPS-EB with two grades of purity:
• LPS-EB is a standard lipopolysaccharide (LPS) preparation. It was extracted by a phenol-water mixture. LPS-EB contains other bacterial components, such as lipopeptides, and therefore stimulates both TLR4 and TLR2.
• Ultra-pure LPS-EB was extracted by successive enzymatic hydrolysis steps and purified by the phenol-TEA-DOC extraction protocol. Ultrapure LPS-EB only activates the TLR4 pathway.
LPS-EB Ultra-pure is also available on ready-to-use 8-well strips pre-coated at 7 different concentrations and a negative control.
Catalog code change notification
The catalog code of ultrapure LPS-EB has been changed from "tlrl-pelps" to "tlrl-3pelps" to notify a modification in the production process. Due to the popularity of ultrapure LPS-EB , scaling-up has been necessary. An additional purification step has been included to maintain the potency and specificity of this product (tested in HEK-Blue™ hTLR4 and HEK-Blue™ hTLR2 cells).
