Biotin-Geldanamycin
Labeled geldanamycin analog
Biotin-GA was generated by biotinylation of geldanamycin at the C17 position. This labeled GA retains its activity against Hsp90 and therefore can be used to identify novel Hsp90 inhibitors through a time-resolved fluorescence resonance energy transfer-based HTS assay which measures the binding of biotin-GA to the N-terminal ATP-binding domain of Hsp90.
