GFAP (Glial Fibrillary Acid Protein) Mouse Monclonal Antibody (clone ZCG29), Concentrate
This monoclonal antibody reacts with GFAP-containing cells, and labels only the 56 kDa GFAP band from immunoblots of crude brain extracts. ZCG29 also reacts with mouse GFAP. No detectable cross-reactivity with neurofilament, cytokeratin, vimentin, or desmin. It is useful in the identification of benign astrocytes and neoplastic cells of glial lineage. Positive tissue: Cerebral cortex/astrocytoma.
