Fibronectin is involved in cell adhesion and migration processes including embryogenesis, wound healing, blood coagulation, host defense, and metastasis. The gene has three regions subject to alternative splicing, with the potential to produce 20 different transcript variants. However, the full-length nature of some variants has not been determined.

Storage Conditions:
Lyophilized products can be stored dry at -20°C up to two years. Reconstituted materials should be stored at -20°C up to six months. Do not thaw and refreeze.
HANDLING OF LYOPHILIZED PEPTIDES:
Peptides should be stored at -20°C for maximum stability.
Warm peptide samples to room temperature in a desiccate prior to opening and weighing out portions to be used. Peptides are often hygroscopic. Adsorption of water can decrease stability and reduce overall peptide content.
Weigh out peptides rapidly and re-seal the bottle tightly.
SOLUBILIZATION AND STORAGE:
Dissolve peptides in sterile distilled water. The concentration should be high enough to allow for addition of buffer after the product is dissolved completely.
