Description Aminoallyl-dUTP (5-[3-aminoallyl]-2'-deoxyuridine-5'-triphosphate) is supplied as 10 mM and 50 mM aqueous solutions titrated to pH 7.0 with NaOH. Aminoallyl-dUTP can be enzymatically incorporated into DNA with Reverse Transcriptases, Taq DNA Polymerase, phi29 DNA Polymerase, Klenow Fragment, Klenow Fragment, exo- and DNA Polymerase I. The resulting amine-containing DNA can be subsequently labeled with any amine-reactive fluorescent dye, biotin or hapten. Applications Enzymatic indirect non-radioactive labeling of DNA during cDNA synthesis, PCR, nick-translation, random primed labeling or primer extension. Quality Control •Functionally tested in cDNA synthesis with RevertAid™ H Minus Reverse Transcriptase. •Greater than 95% purity confirmed by HPLC. •Free of endo-, exodeoxyribonuclease and ribonuclease activities. General Characteristics lambdamax = 240 nm, extinction coefficient =11.9x103 M-1 x cm-1 (pH 7.0), lambdamax = 290 nm, extinction coefficient = 7.8x103 M-1 x cm-1 (pH 7.0). Storage Store at -20°C. |
