Functional Aspects:
Neurofilaments make up the main structural elements of axons and dendrites and are found in neurons, peripheral nerves, and sympathetic ganglian cells. Neurofilaments consist of three major subunits with molecular weights of 68kD, 160kD and 200kD. This antibody will help detect the neurofilament 68kD subunit in normal and uncharacterized tissues. |
