Description: A synthetic broad-spectrum triazole antifungal agent with the mode of action being through Inhibition of cytochrome P450 dependent enzymes including 14α-demethylase. Recently, it has been shown that Itraconazole inhibits Hedgehog (Hh) signaling pathway activity (IC50 = 0.8 µM) as well as blocks the VEGFR2 glycosylation, trafficking, and signaling in endothelial cells.
