Ethoxyquin
Description
A synthetic antioxidant which inhibits chemically induced carcinogenesis. It exerts its chemopreventive action by inducing glutathione synthetase, one of the enzymes in the synthesis of glutathione, and the phase II drug metabolizing enzyme glutathione s-transferase(GST).
