The Mag-Bind® Plant DNA Maxi Kit is designed for the large-scale isolation of high-quality total cellular DNA from wide variety of plant species and tissues. The system combines the high nucleic acid-binding properties of Mag-Bind particles with a novel and proprietary buffer system to eliminate polysaccharides, phenolic compounds, enzyme inhibitors form plant tissue lysates. This system provides superior quality and purity to most current plant isolation methods. Up to 2.5mg high molecular weight genomic DNA can be prepared in 1 hour. Purified DNA is suitable for PCR, restriction digestion, and hybridization techniques.
