α2,3-Neuraminidase, Macrobdella decora, Recombinant, E. coli
Recombinant, Macrobdella decora α2,3-Neuraminidase expressed in E. coli. Catalyzes the hydrolysis of α2,3-linked N-acetylneuraminic acid from complex oligosaccharides. Will catalyze the cleavage of α2,3-linkages from α1-acid glycoprotein, fetuin, keratan sulfate, sialyl Lewis x, and 3′-sialyllactose, yielding 2,7-anhydro-Neu5Ac instead of “free Neu5Ac” as the hydrolysis product. Note: 1 mU = 1 milliunit.
