This rabbit anti-Tau [pT205] polyclonal antibody is specific to human, mouse, and rat TAU [pT205]. Anti-Tau [pT205] polyclonal antibody recognizes the expressed product of the MAPT gene. Tau, in its hyperphosphorylated form, is the major component of paired helical filaments (PHF), the building block of neurofibrillary lesions in Alzheimer's disease (AD) brain. Validated applications for Tau [pT205] polyclonal antibody are Western blotting and immunohistochemistry. Other applications may work but have not been tested.
