CREB [pS133] Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
cAMP responsive element binding protein (CREB) is a 43 kDa leucine zipper transcription factor that stimulates transcription and gene expression after it is phosphorylated on serine residues 129 and 133. CREB plays an important role in development, glucose homeostasis and growth-factor-dependent cell survival, and is implicated in learning and memory. The phosphorylation of CREB at serine 133 (PKA site) is essential for its transcriptional activity.
