The antiserum was produced against a chemically synthesized phosphopeptide derived from the region of human BTK that contains tyrosine 223.
Specificity
This antibody is specific for Bruton’s tyrosine kinase (BTK), a ~74 kDa member of non receptor Tec family of RTK that plays a crucial role in B cell development and differentiation, that is phosphorylated at tyrosine 223.
Reactivity
Human and mouse BTK. Rat BTK has not been tested but is expected to cross react.
