This mouse anti-COX-1 monoclonal antibody is specific to human, mouse, rat and ovine COX-1. COX-1 monoclonal antibody recognizes the expressed product of the PTGS1 gene, also known as Ptgs1. Cyclooxygenases 1 and 2 (COX-1, COX-2) are enzymes involved in the conversion of arichidonate to prostaglandins. Validated applications for COX-1 monoclonal antibody are immunofluorescence, Western blotting, ELISA and immunohistochemistry.
