This mouse anti-MAGE-A monoclonal antibody is specific to human MAGE-A. Mouse anti-MAGE-A monoclonal antibody recognizes the expressed product of the MAGEA1 gene, also known as MAGEA2B. Teh MAGE-A protein is expressed in many types of tumors including melanoma, breast and lung. However, in normal tissues it is only present in adult testis and placenta.
