This purified N-Cadherin Monoclonal Antibody reacts with human, mouse, rat, chicken and swine N-Cadherin. Mouse Anti- N-Cadherin Monoclonal Antibody is specific for N-cadherin and does not cross-react with other cadherin family members including P and E-cadherins. Cadherins are a multifunctional family of Ca2+-dependent, transmembrane glycoproteins which promote and maintain cell adhesion in virtually all multicellular organisms. The expression of E-cadherin correlates inversely with the motile and invasive behavior of tumor cells. Mouse anti- N-Cadherin Monoclonal Antibody can be used in applications such as western blotting, immunohistochemistry, immunoprecipitation and immunofluorescence.
