This mouse anti-Desmoglein-1 monoclonal antibody is specific to human Desmoglein-1. Desmoglein-1 monoclonal antibody recognizes the expressed product of the DSG1 gene. Desmosomes are intercellular adhering junctions that represent cell surface attachment sites for intermediate filament. Desmoglein-1 is synthesized exclusively in the suprabasal layers. Validated applications for Desmoglein-1 monoclonal antibody are immunoprecipitation, immunostaining and Western blotting.
