Mouse anti-α-tubulin monoclonal antibody recognizes the expressed product of the TUBA1 gene, also known as TUBA3, TUBA8, TUBA6. The tubulin protein is a major target of drug molecules, and consequently, tubulin inhibitors have attracted great attention as antimitotic antitumor agents for chemotherapeutic use.
