HER2 (c-erbB-2) Mouse Monclonal Antibody (clone TAB250), Concentrate
HER2, also known as the c-erbB-2 or Neu, is a member of the epidermal growth factor receptor family. This family of receptors are located on the plasma membrane and consist of an extracellular ligand binding domain that is connected to a large intracellular domain by a single transmembrane sequence. The cytoplasmic domain contains a tyrosine kinase that is activated by ligand-induced dimerization of the receptor. This family of receptors are important in regulating cell growth. Immunogen source: NIH3T3 cells transfected with the c-erbB-2.
