NSE (Neuron Specific Enolase) Mouse Monoclonal Antibody (clone NSE-1G4), Concentrate
Neuron specific enolase (NSE) is the glycotic isoenzyme specifically detected in neurons, neuroendocrine cells, and their corresponding tumors. Clone NSE-1G4 reacts predominantly with the γ subunits of NSE of neuronal origin but not with the α subunits of glial origin. It may cross react with β subunits from muscle. May be useful for demonstration of peripheral neuroendocrine tumors. Positive tissue: Pancreas.
Clone/PAD: NSE-1G4
Immunogen: Bovine brain
Specificity: Clone NSE-1G4 is specific for the γ subunits of NSE (neuronal origin) and does not react with the α subunits (glial origin). Some cross-reactivity with the β subunits of NSE may be observed in muscle.
