Neurofilament-M+H monoclonal antibody recognizes the expressed product of the NEF3 gene also known as NEFH, Nef3, Nefh, Nef3, Nefh. Neurofilaments are long helical proteins, which polymerize to form a rigid cytoskeleton in the neuron.
