CD CHO 培养基是化学成分确定的培养基，适合中国仓鼠卵巢 (CHO) 细胞的培养以及悬浮培养中重组蛋白质的表达。 CD CHO 培养基不含动物、植物或合成来源的蛋白质或肽成分。 另外，配方中不含成分不确定的裂解物或水解物。
CD CHO 培养基不含二氢叶酸还原酶 (DHFR) 扩增系统中的次黄嘌呤和胸腺嘧啶；对于其它应用，在使用前添加 10 ml/L HT Supplement（目录号： 11067-030）。
配方中不含 L-谷氨酰胺以增加稳定性；使用前每 1,000 ml 培養基添加 40 ml 200 mM L-谷氨酰胺。
不含谷氨酰胺、次黄嘌呤、胸腺嘧啶或酚红。
