This sequence, RRREEETEEE, is based on CKII phosphorylation sites in casein. Substrate is specific for CKII (Km=0.5 mM), not PKA, PKG, phosphorylase kinase, MLCK, RPTK, or CKI. Used in phosphocellulose assay with crude extracts of bovine liver.
