This sequence, QLQLQAASDFKSPVKTI, contains a CKII autophosphorylation site plus a CDK1 (p34cdc2) consensus phosphorylation site Ser209. Used as a CDK1 substrate (0.25 mM) and also a competitive inhibitor with IC50=50 µM for inhibition of apoptosis induced by perforin and fragmentin-2 in YAC-1 lymphoma cells (peptide A).
