Potent and selective inhibitor of cytochrome P450 1B1 (CYP1B1) (IC50 = 6nM). Has also been reported to have anticancer activity by inducing apoptosis and inhibiting cell growth in human colon carcinoma cells (Col2), human lung carcinoma cells (A549) (IC50 = 0.8nM) and various human breast cancer cell lines (MCF10A, MDA-MB-468, MCF7).
