This control probe has been produced by labeling randomly generated oligonucleotide sequences with fluorescein using the same procedures as applied to the mRNA specific oligonucleotide probes from Vector Labs. It is ideally suited for use as a negative control alongside other RNA specific probes providing validation of the staining pattern obtained by these specific oligonucleotide probes.
