Functional Aspects:
Tartrate-resistant acid phosphatase (TRAP) is an ironbinding isoenzyme found in alveolar macrophages, osteoclasts, spleen, liver, placental decidual cells and syncytiotrophoblasts. Increased expression has been reported in cases of Gaucher’s disease hairy cell leukemias and osteoclastomas. This antibody will help identify TRAP in normal and uncharacterized tissues. |
