Functional Aspects:
pS2 is expressed in normal gastric mucosa, small intestinal mucosa and normal breast epithelium. It is also detected in gastric carcinoma, gynecological cancers and predominantly in estrogen receptor positive breast cancers. It has been reported that high expression of pS2 in these breast cancers are a predictor for a favorable prognosis. This antibody will help detect pS2 in tissues and breast cancer cell lines for research applications. |
