Functional Aspects:Proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA) is a cell cycle associated marker that acts as a co-factor for DNA polymerase delta in S phase and also during DNA s y nthesis associated with DNA damage repair mechanisms. This antibody will help detect PCNA and identify proliferating cells in normal and uncharacterized tissues.
