This monoclonal anti-biotin is a high titer, low background antibody. Provided as a culture supernatant, this antibody is designed to be used for immunohistochemical procedures and in situ hybridization. Anti-Biotin-M, followed by biotinylated anti-mouse IgG and a VECTASTAIN® ABC detection system has been found to be one of the most sensitive methods to detect and localize biotinylated nucleic acid probes. This reagent also offers potential for a variety of amplification procedures involving biotin-avidin and antibody sandwich techniques.
