Background Descriptions: Resistin (also called adipose tissue-specific secretory factor, ADSF) is a member of the family of adipocyte-secreted proteins. Resistin appears to act on skeletal muscle myocytes, hepatocytes, and adipocytes themselves, where it is suggested to reduce insulin sensitivity leading to type-2 diabetes.
Handling: The antibody solution should be gently mixed before use.
Usage: For Research Use Only! Not to be used in humans. |
